Flexible system for auromatic marking and reading of information for identification and tracing of carcasses in the slaughter and cutting process.

Setup and function

• automatic marking of carcasses with a binary code of the carcass number information

• the marking can be done with an ink jet system with food grade ink or with a laser marker

• a vision system reading the binary code and is decoding the information with a decoding Software

• the vision system contains a camera, light system, standard PC technology and software

• the output of the reader is the slaughter number

• the system can be linked with the plant IT system via network or serial communication
